Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of maisonblaiselabs.com (the "Site"), which is operated by Maison Blaise Labs, LLC ("Maison Blaise Labs," "we," "us" or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Not medical advice

The Site provides general information about our company, our research and our planned clinical study. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional. Using the Site or contacting us does not create a doctor–patient or other healthcare relationship.

Do not start, stop or change any medication, including any GLP-1/GIP receptor agonist, based on anything on the Site. Talk with your own physician about your care. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Investigational research

Our lead program is investigational. The uses described on the Site have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and we make no claim that any approach described here is safe or effective for those uses. No product is offered, sold or promoted through the Site.

Any results described on the Site, including a single documented case, are preliminary and may not be repeated in other people or in controlled studies.

Clinical study information

Information about our planned study is provided for general awareness only. It is not an offer to enroll you or to provide treatment. Whether anyone may take part is decided by the study investigators under a protocol reviewed and approved by an institutional review board, and only after an informed-consent process. Registering interest does not guarantee that you will be contacted, screened or enrolled.

No offer of securities

Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or other interest in Maison Blaise Labs, and nothing on the Site is investment, legal or tax advice. Any offering would be made only through definitive written documents provided to eligible persons and in compliance with applicable law.

Forward-looking statements

The Site contains statements about our plans, goals, timelines and expectations, including the design, timing and outcome of research and the status of patent applications. These statements are forward-looking. They are based on our current beliefs, involve risks and uncertainties, and may turn out to be wrong. Actual events may differ materially. We do not undertake to update forward-looking statements except as required by law.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, the Maison Blaise Labs name, the Pascal's triangle mark and the tagline "Discovery begins with one.", are owned by or licensed to Maison Blaise Labs and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Site, or use our name or marks, without our prior written permission.

Our approach is built on proprietary methods of use supported by pending patent applications. No patent has yet been granted, and there is no assurance that any patent will be granted or what its scope will be. References to patent applications on the Site are for information only and do not grant you any license or right.

Information you send us

Please do not send us confidential or proprietary information, such as unpublished data, business plans or inventions, through the Site or by email unless we have first signed a written confidentiality agreement with you. Unless such an agreement is in place, we have no obligation to keep unsolicited submissions confidential, and we may already be developing similar ideas independently.

Please also avoid sending detailed medical records or health history by email. If you contact us about the study, a short note with your name and how to reach you is enough. How we handle information you send us is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site in a way that is unlawful, harmful or disruptive. For example, you agree not to try to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, collect information from the Site by automated means in a way that burdens it, or impersonate any person.

Links to other websites

The Site links to independent sources, such as published medical literature. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse the linked site.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maison Blaise Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maison Blaise Labs and its members, managers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
